Modeled in Autodesk Revit the electrical system for the south concourse portion of the project, including lights, devices, conduit, hangers, brackets, and switchgear. StudioMX developed prefabrication drawings and assisted with verification of the field installation using point cloud data provided by others.
StudioMX assisted the client in generating Design Development and Construction Document sets. After completing the architectural documents, we were also hired by the electrical subcontractor to provide electrical modeling and coordination services and represent them weekly in the general contractor meetings.
Using a point cloud generated with both ground and aerial scanning equipment, we modeled the existing bridge structure, MEP, and adjacent railway which can be used by design and engineering teams in replacement logistics.

StudioMX has generated the majority portfolio images used by this US based remodel company to show clients the vision of their design prior to beginning construction.
Our team was involved throughout many aspects of this project. The initial scope of work was with the architect where we assisted in completing the permit and CD sets. Prior to the construction start, we facilitated the MEP coordination process with the general contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers. As a result of our efforts, StudioMX helped the project owners realize more than $1M in savings from the first phase to the second phase of the project.
Provide construction team with clash detection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems compared to the architectural and structural models.
Worked with the developer, general contractor, and MEP trade partners to coordinate each scope of work and minimize onsite conflicts and issues. Our team facilitated weekly meetings where the Revit model was used to find solutions and solve clashes.
Using the client’s construction schedule, we created a 4D model showing the sequencing and staging of the project through video. This deliverable was used by our client in their proposal to the custom home owner.
